Behaviour Interactive is excited to announce that the world of K-pop is colliding with the grim universe of its hit asymmetrical horror game, Dead by Daylight, in the new chapter All-Kill, available now. The name All-Kill refers to when a group’s song or album simultaneously takes the top spot of all eight Korean music charts.
- A new story unfolds – All-Kill explores the vibrant and exciting world of K-pop music and culture, with a dark twist. A world-renowned singer leading a disturbing double life, and his ambitious producer who suspects there may be more to her client than meets the eye, are pulled into the Fog. Good thing the Entity loves a show.
“Inspired by the high energy and vivid aesthetics of this global phenomenon, the team brought to life an adrenaline-pumping chapter that oozes with style and blood”, explains Dave Richard, Creative Director for Dead by Daylight.
- Two new characters – The new killer is Ji-Woon Hak, better known to fans across the globe as The Trickster. Famed singer by day, calculating serial killer by night, The Trickster thirsts for notoriety above all, treating both his music and his murders as high art. The new Survivor is Yun-Jin Lee, a resilient and ambitious music producer who built her reputation on the success of her one and only client – The Trickster. Ignoring evidence of his true nature in favor of her career, Yun-Jin now stands to pay the ultimate price for her decision.
- A collaborative effort – For the first time in Dead by Daylight’s history, the team has sought to work with two consultants to insure a just representation of Korean culture and the K-pop phenomenon. In working with singer Kevin Woo, notably recognized from K-pop group U-KISS and DJ Swivel, an award-winning music producer who has worked with internationally renowned group BTS, the team was able to better align its efforts with reality.
“I love how this chapter captures all the amazing elements of K-Pop including the eye-catching visuals of the characters, addictive music, and cultural backdrop with a horror twist”, says Kevin Woo. I have no doubt that the K-Pop community will fall in love with this chapter as much as I did and I hope people who aren’t familiar with K-Pop will get introduced to it through the All-Kill chapter.”
- New Store Collection: Seoul Sights – To celebrate the release of this chapter, the Seoul Sights Collection is now available in the in-game store. It brings a slew of Korean streetwear-inspired outfits to The Fog, adding a distinct flair for those looking to stalk or survive with high-style swagger. The Collection features some very rare outfits notably the Seoul Socialite for Yun-Jin, the Cut Thru U Performance for The Trickster as well as other outfits for Adam Francis, Feng Ming, Felix Richter, Élodie Rakoto and Dwight Fairfield.
- The Realm Beyond continues – With this chapter, two new features are being implemented: the colorblind mode and the chat filters. Both of these accessibility features will make the game even more fun to play, for everyone.
The All-Kill Chapter is now available on Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Steam, Windows Store, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. It will be available on Dead by Daylight Mobile in the Spring.
